While I do agree with the content I would say however that these are not the real foundations of success in the direct sales industry.
I have spent all my life in direct sales, 30 years in the field and many years as a tools provider to the industry as a whole.
It is my experience that the foundation for success begins with having an understanding of the four pillars of business. Leadership,Finance and Admin,Marketin and Sales and Product Fulfillment.
I have known many successful Direct Sellers and Network Marketters and I am sorry to say that most of them distrust the company management teams and what they communicate however they are sold on the products and like the comp plans.
The bulk of them do understand what makes them money and in the end they are great goal setters and business planners.
They all tweek the Company Way to make it work for them . They are usually very good leaders, planners,money watchers and focus on the customers who buy from them .
These are the building blocks that need to be the foundation of success. The trust and communication are almost abstracts as they vary from company to company . Poor Trust and communication can make success a rocky road for any direct seller however failure to run your business like a business will be a killer every time.
