Great point, Bill. That’s a big one. Sometimes the company knows exactly what to do, but getting field leaders on board is another issue altogether.

Another challenge commonly seen in direct selling tech is on the front lines. Too often direct selling companies have the inability or unwillingness to convince their top distributors that “sometimes change is a good thing”. Those at the “top of the tree” (who of course are the highest earners) want a system that does things the same way as the system that got them there. This can breed stasis in an industry that should be embracing change to meet the challenges of a changing demographic.
