My personal Take Away from this erudite conversation: The competition (distractions and confusion) in the marketplace just means that I, as a Network Marketing Leader (Visionary who first demonstrates daily what’s possible, and who is able to teach) MUST – in 2019 – 10X my demonstrations (i.e. personal rank advancing), and effective teaching (that’s demonstrable by a downline that’s rank advancing monthly along with me). Belief: Customers and Downline Team Members will follow Real Leaders and Stay with Real Leaders (not companies, ranks, freebie strategies, award-winning websites, or bottle rocket companies with over-priced (or soon to be over-priced), 85%+ payouts.

You’re right about most leaders. It’s our cognitive bias and over weighting of mere anecdotal evidence that trips so many companies up. Combine that with slow decision making and an unwillingness to fail-forward and many companies have a big challenge ahead, starting with managing a big organizational shift to a model more driven by scientific inquiry (like how many make their products, but for the rest of the business), a willingness to experiment and iterate.
